CPF/CNPJ generator & validator
Valid numbers for software testing, including Brazil’s 2026 alphanumeric CNPJ.
Generate Brazilian CPFs and CNPJs with real check digits (Módulo 11) to test forms, systems and integrations — including the new alphanumeric CNPJ format adopted by the Receita Federal from 2026. You can also validate any existing number. Note: the numbers are mathematically valid but belong to no real person; using them for fraud is a crime.
For software testing, not fraud
This tool generates CPF and CNPJ numbers (Brazilian tax IDs) that pass check-digit validation — but they are fictitious, algorithm-generated, with no link to any real person or company. They let developers test forms, sign-ups and validation rules without using real people’s data, which would breach privacy.
How the check digit works
The last two digits of a CPF (and CNPJ) are calculated from the previous ones by a formula using weights and the remainder of division by 11. That is why a mistyped number is rejected instantly: the digits do not "add up". The built-in validator checks any CPF or CNPJ by that same rule — handy for testing a field’s mask.
Generated locally and in bulk
You can generate many at once to populate a test database, with or without punctuation. Everything runs in the browser, uploading nothing. To fill in test names and text too, combine it with the Lorem Ipsum generator.
Frequently asked questions
Do these numbers belong to anyone?
No. They are random combinations that merely satisfy the check-digit formula (Módulo 11). They exist to test form and system validation; using them to impersonate someone or open accounts is a crime.
What is the 2026 alphanumeric CNPJ?
Brazil’s Receita Federal now issues CNPJs whose first 12 characters may contain letters (A-Z) and digits, keeping the 2 numeric check digits. In the formula, each character is worth its ASCII code minus 48 — our generator and validator already follow this rule.
Does validating here prove the document exists?
No. Validation only checks the check-digit math — the same test forms perform. Only the official Receita Federal lookup confirms whether a CPF or CNPJ is registered and active.
