Where does the rate come from?
Values come live from AwesomeAPI, a public FX source, and reflect the market rate (not banks’ tourism rate, which is usually pricier because it adds spread and taxes).
Is this the same rate I pay on my card?
Not exactly. We show the commercial market rate. On an international card or when buying cash, the bank adds spread and taxes, so the final amount is usually higher.
How often does it update?
Every time you open or switch the asset, we fetch the latest quote. Reload the page to get the updated value through the day.
