Frequently asked questions
Is the end date included in the count?
The difference is the number of days between the two dates (the start date is day zero). E.g. from Jan 1 to Jan 2 is 1 day. If you need both endpoints included (inclusive count), add 1 to the total.
How are business days counted?
Business days are Monday to Friday, ignoring Saturdays and Sundays. Public or local holidays are not subtracted — they vary by country and year, so the count is of weekdays.
Can I calculate a deadline date?
Yes. On the "Add / subtract days" tab, enter a base date and a number of days (use a negative number to go back in time) — the tool shows the resulting date and which weekday it falls on.
